Welcome to our Governors’ section

At Wylde Green Primary School, our Governing Body is structured to ensure the best education for our children in a safe, happy, and secure environment. We work closely with the headteacher and senior leadership team to set the school’s direction and drive continuous improvement.

Our Responsibilities:

• Monitoring Performance: Keeping track of our children's progress.
• Supporting Staff: Collaborating with teachers to provide the best care and education.
• Resource Management: Deciding on the optimal use of school resources.
• Future Planning: Ensuring continuous improvement in our children's performance and school standards.

We convene as a Full Governing Body every term and have two committees focusing on finances and standards/achievement. Additionally, many of our governors actively engage with school staff and activities to understand the school's daily life.

We are accessible during Parent’s Evenings for any discussions or questions. Our parent governors are also available on the playground before and after school. Feel free to reach out to us through the school office.
